Sale United Powerchair Football Club Announces New Era as Altrincham Powerchair Football Club
Greater Manchester, UK – July 31, 2025 — After many successful years competing as Sale United Powerchair Football Club, we are proud to announce that the club is entering an exciting new chapter. Effective immediately, we will be known as Altrincham Powerchair Football Club (Altrincham PFC)
This rebranding reflects more than just a change in name—it represents a renewed vision, a strengthened commitment to inclusive sport, and a powerful new partnership with Altrincham Football Club Community Sports & Altrincham Football Club and the outstanding community programmes delivered by the charity.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Sale United Football Club, whose support, encouragement, and belief in our mission have been instrumental in our journey so far. Their partnership has helped us grow, compete, and inspire, and we will always be thankful for the foundation they helped us build.
