Saturday 7th March 2026 Altrincham v Truro City

Matchday Party

Luca is turning 8, and naturally he’s celebrating at a football ground — because if he’s not playing football for Wigan Athletic or Collyhurst FC, he’s thinking about football, talking about football, or trying to convince someone (anyone!) to have a kickabout. When he’s not perfecting his skills, he’s at Brooklands Primary School devouring books, solving Rubik’s cubes at lightning speed (with a little help from Alex in yr4), wrestling with his little brother Indy and giggling over the Beano. He’s kind, funny, and full of joy… unless he loses, in which case the world briefly ends before he bounces back with a grin. A fun loving whirlwind and the perfect star for an 8th birthday with his best friends and local football team

Our Freekicks Foundation Mascots for todays game are Alex & Eddie.

Alex loves football and hanging out with his friends. He’s also a really good dancer and wants to be a DJ when he grows up!

Eddie loves football and staying at home watching movies. He’s pretty rapid on his bike and is always happy to get muddy on the rugby field!

Home Instead out in the community at Altrincham Football Club

Sian and Lisa from Home Instead will be at the J. Davidson Stadium on Saturday 7th March, cheering on Altrincham FC as they take on Truro City!

Home Instead, in partnership with The Alzheimer’s Society and Trafford Carers Centre, are raising awareness about dementia and the support available locally. We’ll also be fundraising on the day for both Trafford Carers Centre and Alzheimer’s Society to help continue their amazing work.

Home Instead helps people live well with dementia, and Rebecca from Alzheimer’s Society will be there to share helpful advice. Batch Running Club will also be on hand to represent Trafford Carers Centre and highlight the brilliant work they do.

We’ll be giving out free copies of our community magazine, Live Well Your Way, packed with local events, activities, and support services.

Come over, say hello, get some info and support these amazing charities.

HELP US RAISE FUNDS FOR STAMFORD PARK, ALTRINCHAM

Many of you will enjoy spending time in Stamford Park, and thanks to our volunteers and community, in 2025 we were awarded our very first Green Flag. However, the good work must continue, and we are sure you would all agree, that we need to continually improve our wonderful park. Outdoor spaces promote learning, problem solving and friendships as well as improve our physical and mental health. FoSP are working in partnership with One Trafford to enhance all areas of the park and engage with our local community.

By donating, you will help us to improve play areas, maintain flower and shrub beds, as well as hold small scale family events.

Individual and corporate donations welcome.

Thank you for your help, no matter how big or small.
