Our freekicks foundation mascot for today is Bradley.
Bradley was chosen for his efforts and dedication to the disability team, and the hard work he puts in while attending the matches and training. Since starting with the disability team, he’s actually found his passion & place in football again since going off it years ago. So being part of the club has done wonders for him & the team & coaches have been amazing with him. Also, I would like to wish Bradley a happy birthday for his birthday coming up.
Mascot
Our second mascot for todays game is Dexter.
Big 14 today. Only thing he wanted for his birthday was to walk out onto the pitch and hopefully watch Altrincham win!
Been coming to Altrincham since he was little and is very proud to be finally walking the players out.
Happy birthday Dex!
Matchday Charity
Bee Caring homeless outreach group was set up in Jan 2025 by a group of likeminded experienced outreach volunteers., Sian, Caroline, Lisa and Janet. We also have volunteers doing outreach, cooking, baking and helping us in many other ways.
We go into Manchester City centre on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights every week come rain or shine.
We start out nights by searching in doorways for the rough sleepers and vulnerable people and give out hot and cold food and drinks, clothes, sleeping bags, tents (if we have any) and toiletries and can signpost them where to get further help. We always finish our nights in the same locations be that St Peter’s square Piccadilly gardens, so they know where to find us. It’s definitely getting busier out there and with winter on its way we will be needed more.
We’re always in need of help, whether that’s helping us with food, outreach, donating good condition joggers, hoodies and trainers (there’s a collection box in reception)
We will be at the ground with collection boxes (and card readers) on Saturday 18th October, please look out for us and donate if you can, Thankyou
