2005 play-off final reunion

We are delighted to announce that on the 14th of May Altrincham Community Sports will be hosting a reunion dinner to celebrate the famous 2005 play-off winning team.

Grahame Rowley has successfully managed to track down all 11 starting players and many others from that season and organised what is sure to be one of the most enjoyable and nostalgic events of the last few years.

Taking place on the date of this year’s FA Cup Final, the day will start with the Sports Hall’s bar being open from 5 pm onwards. Once we have reached the conclusion of the final, the reunion will take place.

Compared by Brian Flynn, fans will have a chance to quiz their heroes of ‘05 in a Q&A session as well as a more informal part of the evening where they can simply mingle and reminisce about that glorious day in Stoke.

All of this is included in the £20 ticket, as well as a hot buffet.

A raffle will also take place at the event, and we encourage you to bring cash to take part. Proceeds from the event will be split evenly between the Motor Neurone Association Disease and Altrincham Community Sports.

Proceeds of the evening will go towards the Community Foundation as well as supporting the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

We encourage you to buy your tickets early, as this is sure to be an extremely popular event amongst the Altrincham Community!
